Astronomy Festival, Welcome to the Speakeasy, Bridal Show this Weekend and More

Riverbend Park is hosting an Astronomy Festival on Saturday. The event is at 5:30 p.m. at the park on 8700 Potomac Hills St. in Great Falls. Visitors will use the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope to view the stars. Admission is $5.

This weekend is the last chance to check out the 100 Under 200 exhibit at the Workhouse Arts Center. One hundred artists are exhibiting artwork priced under $200. The exhibit ends Sunday. The museum is at 9601 Ox Road in Lorton.

You can also check out the Welcome to the Speakeasy event at the arts center at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are available online.  

Interested in volunteering this year? The American Legion Post 180 is hosting a volunteer information session with representatives from local nonprofits. The event is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the post on 330 Center St. N. in Vienna. Find out more information
