Personally, as a person who has worked hard and made the necessary "sacrafices" in life toRead More accomplish at least a modest amount financially, I simply have no empathy for people who are not willing to do the same. Society does NOT owe these somewhat lazy or foolish people anything. If these people, living in the USA, cannot manage to accomplish anything on their own, then they undoubtedly do not deserve anything betther than what they have. If they chose to not take advantage of the free public educationthat they were offered or lack the insight and perspective of what is nnedded to succeed somewhat, then they simply do NOT deserve to be "SUBSDIZED" in their standard of living. These people have had "opportunities" provided to them; and they were either too naive or too stupid to realize their opportunities. They, in essence, have doomed themselves to their situations.
