Loudoun DED Offers FBI 8 Sites
Multiple Ashburn sites are the mix as the county attempts to lure 11,000 federal jobs.
The Loudoun County Department of Economic Development has just announced that it has submitted eight sites in Loudoun for the proposed new FBI Headquarters. The sites were turned over to the General Services Administration, the agency charged with finding spot for the new HQ. The Loudoun sites can be found in the DED’s presentation to the GSA. If you get the FBI headquarters at the airport you would probably come close to making the Silver Line pay for itself. Sure sounds a lot better then a cargo hub that Loudoun County will receive zero dollars in revenue from and that we will have to provide improved roads for the increased 18 wheel traffic that benefits the MWAA. more ›
