Chantilly, Marshall Academy CyberPatriot Teams to Be Feted by TerraWi at Reception
Chantilly Academy team qualified for national finals in cyber defense competition.
Student teams from Chantilly Academy and Marshall Academy who will compete in the national finals of the CyberPatriot V competition will be congratulated at a special reception, hosted by Marshall team sponsor TerraWi, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, at the company’s offices in McLean, according to a news release from Fairfax County Public Schools. Chantilly Academy and Marshall Academy are two of the six high school academies in Fairfax County Public Schools. Used to be a math/science teacher in Florida. Told my kids that learning mathematics trains your mind to think logically. Not everyone will utilize STEM as a career but learning to organize your thoughts via math will teach that critical thinking which allows one to work through problems in life.   more ›
