The Powerball jackpot is now up to a mind-blowing $500 million dollars. That's half a billion dollars. Lottery officials say there is a 60 percent (or better) chance that someone will win in Wednesday night’s drawing for the largest Powerball jackpot ever. Tickets are themselves a hot-ticket item.
