Tricia Haneghan, Neighbor

Tricia lives in South Riding, Virginia with her husband, four school-age daughters and the world’s two naughtiest golden retrievers. She is a freelance writer and regular contributor to <i>I Am Modern Magazine</i> and Patch. She is active in community affairs and has served as a PTA officer for several schools over the past decade. Before moving to Virginia, Tricia was an elementary teacher then spent several years on the legislative staff of Illinois Senator Paul Simon. Tricia graduated from Knox College with a B.A. in Education. On any given day, she can be found in her blue “swagger-wagon” chauffeuring her daughters around to various musical, sports and social activities, out having coffee with friends, on the porch reading historical fiction novels and doing countless other things being done by moms everywhere.
