Fairfax County Police Hold Bicycle Safety 'Rodeo'

More than 100 children and parents came to learn about bike safety.

If you happened to see dozens of kids on bicycles recently at Chantilly National Golf & Country Club in Fairfax County, here's what was going on:

Officers from Fairfax County Police's Sully District Station partnered with the Boy Scouts and Inova Fairfax Hospital Injury Prevention Coordinators to host a Bike Safety Rodeo at the club.

The event was held Wednesday, when more than 100 children and parents came to learn about bike safety and helmet inspections. They rode a variety of courses designed to test their skills. Fun was had by all.
