How to Drive Safely in Stormy Weather

Loudoun County released a video on how to drive safely when you suddenly find yourself driving in stormy weather.

A man lost control of his car in Friday's storm, which saw driving rain, thunder and lightning, and hail in some areas. His car struck a charter bus and he died.

Although the best course of action during severe weather is to stay off the roads, if you are caught in your vehicle during hazardous weather, there are precautions you can take, Loudoun County of Emergency Management advises.
